Employee of the Quarter honored at MCDH

Kathleen O'Connell, Summer 2004 Employee of the Quarter.

Kathleen O'Connell was happily surprised to receive the Summer 2004 Employee of the Quarter honor at MCDH on Friday, October 1.  She was nominated for the award by co-workers who enjoy working with her for many reasons, including her attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, ability to work well with others and her flexibility.  O'Connell is energetic, pleasant and has a good sense of humor.

Joining the MCDH family in September 2001, O'Connell has worked as a Unit Coordinator covering several departments.  In May 2003, she transferred to Occupational Medicine as a full-time assistant, and has captured several accounts since working in this department.

MCDH selects its Employee of the Quarter from nominations received from hospital employees, medical staff, volunteers and patients. Honorees are rewarded with their photo in the hall of fame and their name engraved on a plaque, a certificate, a check for $150, a prime parking space for a quarter, and are in the running for Employee of the Year award.
